Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Title Case and Sentence case?

Title Case capitalizes most words ("Gone with the Wind", keeping short words like "with" lowercase). Sentence case capitalizes only the first letter of each sentence ("Gone with the wind"). Publications pick one; this tool does both.

When do I use camelCase vs snake_case vs kebab-case?

Convention by language: camelCase for JavaScript variables and Java methods, PascalCase for classes, snake_case for Python and SQL, kebab-case for CSS classes and URL slugs, CONSTANT_CASE for environment variables.

Can it convert an existing sentence into a variable name?

Yes — paste "total order value" and choose camelCase to get totalOrderValue, or snake_case for total_order_value. Spaces and hyphens are treated as word separators.
